NEXT TUESDAY’S ARRANGEMENTS. The Acting-Town Clerk in in receipt of a communication from the Right Hon. the Prime Minister, forwarding a request that tire local arrangements for the observance of Armistice Day on Tuesday next, should be made in accordance with the wishes of his Majesty the King, namely, that two minutes silence should be observed at 11 a.m., and that ail vehicular traffic should be suspended for that period. Arrangements to give effect to the request are being made by the Deputy-Mayor (Councillor Alex. Glass), in the absence of the Mayor.
