NEW ZEALAND STOCK
TO. COMPETE IN ARGENTINA. INTERNATIONAL SHOW. The value of Argentina as a market for New Zealand stud stock has been frev quently proved, and the international show at Palermo, Buenos Aires, opening on September 1, will contain an exhibit of New Zealand rams and cattle, while a small New Zealand court, will find a place. Arrangements are now being completed to forward by the Mahia, sailing from Wellington on July 11, a representative collection of New Zealand-bred stock. The shipment will comprise 20 Romney rams selected by a Committee representing the New Zealand Romney Marsh Breeders’ Association, 20 Merino rams selected in the Marlborough Province by a Committee headed by Messrs Charles and 8. J. Goulter, 12 Lincoln rams, the selection of which has been supervised by Mr W. Perry, of Penrose, and 20 Corriedale rams from leading Otago and Canterbury studs. The cattle representation will comprise outstanding dairy types of the Jersey and Friesian breeds, which have been selected by Mr C. E. Robertson, from the leading herds of the Dominion.
