Port Wellington, Timaru, May 26. NOTES. The Kotare sailed for Invercargill yesterday morning. The Waikouaiti arrived yesterday morning from Sydney via Hobart. She is discharging general cargo and is to sail to-day for Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Sydney. The Raranga arrived at Bluff yesterday afternoon from Port Chalmers to continue her Homeward‘loading. She will sail about to-morrow for Wellington to complete. The Moeraki leaves Dunedin to-day for Bluff and is due on Saturday, leaving on Monday evening for Melbourne direct. The Waitemata is to leave Lyttelton today for Port Chalmers and Bluff. She is due here on Monday to discharge Nauru phosphates. She will sail about Thursday for Sydney.
The Calm is due on Saturday from Lyttelton and will sail for Dunedin and the north the same night or on Monday.
The Kamo will load coal at Greymouth to-day for Bluff and Dunedin. She is due on Monday to put oi# 500 tons and will sail on Tuesday for Dunedin.
The Opihi loads coal to-day at Westport. She is bringing 550 tons for Bluff and is due on Monday, sailing on Tuesday for Dunedin to complete discharge. The Wanaka is expected to leave Wellington to-day for Timaru, Bluff and Dunedin and is due here to discharge and load on Tuesday next.
The Katoa is due next week with a shipment of poles and hardwood timber from Port Stephens. She will complete discharge at Wellington. The Trelevan, now at Timaru, is to sail about to-day for Dunedin and Bluff to complete discharge of her New York cargo. She is due about Monday. The Port Wellington is due at Bluff on May 17 to discharge cargo loaded at Glasgow and Liverpool. She will begin loading at Bluff for London and will lift frozen meat, dairy produce and general cargo, later visiting Timaru and making Wellington her final New Zealand port. She is expected to leave Bluff on May 26.
With cargo from Southampton, via Wellington and Port Chalmers, the Arawa is due on Monday week. She is to sail on May 14 for Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington and is to leave the last-named port on May 27 for London via Panama. The Radnor, from New’ York, via Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin is due here about Thursday and on completion of discharge will sail for Australia. PORT OF INVERCARGILL. The Kotare, which arrived at Invercargill yesterday from Dunedin via Bluff, with general cargo, is to sail this afternoon for Riverton and Waikawa. With a full cargo for Invercargill, the Oreti left Dunedin last evening. She is expected to arrive this afternoon. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. (Per United Press Association!. AUCKLAND, May 7. SYDNEY, May 7. xhe steamer Kooringa, belonging to the Mcllwraith, McEachern line, is idle at Melbourne as a result of the action of the Seajnen s Union.
When the Komura, of the same line, reaches her home port in Melbourne she will also be rendered idle as there is trouble aboard owing to a dispute over a minor injury to a fireman. Fears concerning the Hobson Bay proved groundless. The vessel has signed on a new crew without difficulty. OVERSEAS SHIPPING. LONDON, May 6.
