MAL'INDOE, m hb report on “CROSSED KEYS” MEAT MEAL, states:—■ “The quality is of high standard, one pound being equal to 1521 calories of food fuel units. As well as its use for Poultry It could be used as part ration for cattle.” In his opinion one pound of this article is equal to about three pounds ordinary Poultry Foods. The Analysis is as under:— Moisture, 6.12 per cent.; Fat, 14.86 per cent.; Proteins, 46.49 per cent; Phosphate of Limo, 26.10 per cent.; Carbohydrates, 3.46 per cent.; Alkaline Salts, .73 per cent.;‘Carbonate of Lime, 1.66 per cent; Silica. par cent.
