GENERAL BOOTH

WARNING AGAINST “GO-SLOW” TACTICS. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 17. Speaking at the Millions’Club, General Booth warned Australian workers against the “go-slow” policy. He said that he noticed during his present visit, as compared with the previous one, a distinct effort to reduce the output in Australia. He stated that the Salvation Army could send out many desirable boys and girls if he was assured that they would be welcomed and cared for by the State Governments. The Army could also send skilled workers with families, provided they would be welcomed by the Trades’ Unions.
