STB-CQMMnTEES APPOINTED. At a meeting of the Executive of the Winter Carnival on Friday morning, it was decided to call for applications for the position of secretary, at a salary of £5O and bonus. The following sab-committees were appointed : Publicity and Advertising: Mesas W. A Gow (convenor), A H. MsckreU, A le H. Hoyles, Wm. Thomson, E. Abbey Jones and R J. Gilmour. Sports: Messrs W. A Saunders, Geo. Taylor, D. W. Stalker and the Presidentelect of the Rugby Union. School Sports: Messrs R L. Lewis (convenor), J. Lenihan, J. S. McGrath, J. B. Mawson ami James Stobo. Finance: General Committee. Industries: Messrs R M. Strang (convenor), J. B. Thomson, T. J. Boyce, Frank Kingsland, Jas. Kingsland, E. G. Broad, T. A. Nichoteon, A. Dennison, A S. Fleming (Gore).
