COMMUNIST PLOT
DISCOVERED IN JAPAN. (Sun Cable). TOKIO, February 14. (Received February 15, 7.50 pjn.) Incontrovertible evidence has been uncovered in Tokio and other cities relating to an organisation of the communist society among professors. The non-Government University at Tokio is distributing propaganda in connection with an association of Russian and American Reds. According to a statement by the Minister of Justice before a Conference of Governors, a plot was discovered in time to stay their activities. The youth who attempted to assassinate the Regent was the dupe of these professors. The Minister’s speech was largely censored before being made public. Other Ministers urged the Governors to work for better schools, religious revival, recreation and patriotism. The Foreign Minister declared that there would be no recognition of Russia by Japan.
