BRITISH COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE (By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, February 16. (Received February 17, 5.5 pjn.) In connection with the British Empire cancer campaign, for which £70,000 has been subscribed at Home and in the dominions, it is announced that a Scientific Advisory Committee has been appointed consisting of a number of distinguished men of medicine and science. Though more money is needed, it is intended to proceed with the work. The Committee’s duties include devising schemes of research, and maintaining communications relating to research work all the world over.
