PERSIAN OIL SHARES
A LABOUR OPINION. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, December 15. In view of the rumours of the possibility of the Government selling its shares in the Anglo-Persian Oil Company the executive committee of the Labour Party has requested Mr MacDonald to convey to Mr Baldwin the opinion that the disposal thereof would be contrary to public policy and in the present circumstances would be improper.
