The sun rises to-day at 4.18 a.m. The sun sets to-day at 808 p.m. PORT OF BLUFF The Sussex left Calcutta on December 7 for New Zealand ports, including Bluff, via Singapore and Samarang. She has 61G tons from Calcutta for discharge at Bluff. The Rotorua is scheduled to load at Bluff on January 23. The allotment of cargo to be lifted by the vessel comprises 19,000 crates of cheese, 4000 boxes of butter and 27,000 carcases of mutton and lamb. The Moeraki is due to leave Bluff on or about January 2, for Melbourne direct. The Kaituna is still held up at Port Stephens, New South Wales. It is expected, however, that the vessel will be able to get away within the next day of two for Bluff and Port Chalmers. The delay in despatching the vessel has been caused by the shortage of lighters. So far this season overseas vessels leaving Bluff have lifted 37,896 crates of cheese and 12.789 boxes of butter as compared with 35,068 crates of cheese and 17,794 boxes of butter for the same period of last year. The Mahia left Bluff at 7.30 a.m. on Saturday morning. She lifted 2007 boxes of butter and 11,204 crates of cheese while at the port. The Whangape leaves Sydney towards the end of the present week for Lyttelton. Oamaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The Karori which left Dunedin on Saturday for Bluff, arrived at the latter port yesterday. After discharging she loads for Auckland via Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. The Kaitangata was to leave Auckland on Saturday for Portland. She is expected to leave that port to-morrow for Bluff via ports. The Kotare arrived at Invercargill from Dunedin on Sunday with general cargo. She is'due to sail for Waikawa this morning. The Waikouaiti, now in Sydney, is to leave Newcastle towards the end of the present week with a cargo for Lyttelton and Timaru. Cable advice received by the Federal Line states that the Cornwall arrived at Colon on December 4 from Liverpool and sailed from Panama on December 5 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel is due at Auckland about January 2. The S.S. and A. steamer Karamea, from Newcastle, arrived at Wellington on Friday. The vessel will load at Wellington, Napier, Timaru, Bluff, and returns to Wellington to fill up. She is due at Wellington on January 6 and is to leave that port on January 9 for London, vai Montevideo and feneriffe. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 15.
