NEW SOUTH WALES INQUIRY. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) * SYDNEY, December 14. At the National Insurance inquiry officials of the Australian Mutual Provident and Mutual Life and Citizens’ Societies gave evidence in favour of a national scheme. They declared their societies were prepared to co-operate therein provided the fund bore the expense. One official said although compulsion was not desirable, he could not see how any national scheme would be operative except on a compulsory basis.
