DISINFECTION OF FOWLHOUSES

SEASONABLE PRECAUTIONS. At this time of the year it is a wise policy to keep fowlhouses thoroughly disinfected by sprinkling them with D.B.L. Carbolic Powder, obtainable from all grocers at 1/a large sprinkler top tin. D.B.L. is the strongest Carbolic Powder on the market and easily the most economical. A splendid disinfectant for household use is Bettol Disinfectant; Fluid, price 9d a bottle from leading grocers. It is a wonderful germicide and is used by the leading hospitals in the Dominion, the South Island Railways and, by several big public bodies, such as the Christchurch City Council. — (Advt.).
