The report of the honorary staff of the Christchurch Hospital regarding the radium treatment of cancer was received at the meeting of the Wellington Hospital Board. The chairman said that the Wellington Board would welcome a contribution towards establishing a radium institute. Mr Chapman said that cures had been effected when hope had been abandoned. He was sure the public would subscribe funds to relieve sufferers.
