DELEGATES TO CONGRESS. TOKIO, June 15. Professor Allsworth Huntington, who is Research Geographer at Yale University, is here on his way to attend the Scientific Congress at Sydney. He says that he proposes to discuss the effect of the Queensland climate upon white labour. Dr. Omori Sho, a noted Japanese scientist, who is also proceeding to Sydney, addressed the Pan-Pacific Club to-day. He extolled the value of scientific gaterings as a means of broadening Pacific friendships. Professor Huntington will travel via Korea and China, and will sail from Hong Kong in July.
