SUBSTANTIAL SUM INVOLVED. (Per United Press Associatew). DANNEVTRKE, June 21. Thomas Henry Jones, accountant, secretary of the Arcadia Picture Company, who voluntarily surrendered to tbe police at Takapau yesterday, appeared in court today charged with failing to account for a sum—£36 6s —to the Picture Company. He was remanded till to-morrow. The police said the accused had admitted defalcations between four and five hundred pounds, but the actual amount would be unknown until an audit had been completed.
