The Cahn, from Lyttelton, is expected to arrive to-day. The Wanaka is due at Dunedin this morning to load Bhiff transhipping cargo ex the Waitemata. She is expected to arrive at Bluff on Friday morning, and wails on Saturday for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Waikouaiti is now expected to leave Lyttelton on Saturday next for Timaru and Bluff. She is due at the latter port on Tuesday afternoon, and sails for Sydney direct. The Australind is due at Bluff about June 27 with a shipment of case oil and general cargo from New York. The Tekoa, with general cargo from the West Coast of the United Kingdom, is due at Bluff early in July. The Tairoa is expected io leave Bluff to-day with a shipment of lamb, wool, and cheese for London. SHIPPING NOTES. The Orient Line has decided to make an important alteration in connection with the carriage of passengers to Europe on its two latest steamers, the Ormonde and the Qrmuz, both of which are over 14,000 tons gross register. The accommodation on these two vessels Is to be remodelled so as to eliminate second-class passengers, and in future first and third-class passengers will be carried. By this means, it is claimed that the company will be able to offer firstflass accommodation at lower fares, in addition to providing more deck space for both first and third-class. Advice received from the Union Company states that the Howra, en route from the Mexican Gulf ports, cleared the Panama Canal on May 28 for Auckland, Lyttelton, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland to discharge a large quantity of sulphur. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICES. Hauraki, from Pacific Coast ports, sailed from San Francisco on Wednesday, June 6, for Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about June 30.
