At Chicago a conference called by the States is discussing what is declared to be a commercial crisis in the grain growing industry. Five hundred representatives of farmers, bankers and industrialists are participating. Speakers declared that farmers are facing the greatest price slump in fifty years, with a surplus of one hundred and seventy million bushels on hand and another harvest almost begun. STOCK EXCHANGE.
