MINISTERIAL REPLY TO MR DE LA PERRELLE. Some time ago Mr de la Perrelle, M.P., urged the erection of a crushing plant at Bluff for Nauru phosphates to enable southern farmers to obtain phosphates at the lowest possible price. The Minister has replied, inter alia, that instructions were recently given for a report to be prepared giving all necessary information regarding the cost of erecting, equipping and operating a factory for grinding phosphate rock, and also for manufacturing superphosphate.
