The quality was of high order, seeing that the butter had been in the cool stores for two and a-half months, before judging, and reflected great credit on the dairy factory managers. In the cheese awards, the judges stated that the various classes were well filled. The appearance of the exhibits left little to be desired. In some instances more could have been taken in dressing. The general quality even, both in flavour and make, was highly satisfactory.
