BUTTER AND CHEESE. NATIONAL DAIRY ASSOCIATION’S REPORT. (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 18. The National Dairy Association received the following cablegram from its London office, dated June 16:—Butter market quiet. New Zealand salted 154/- to 156/-; unsalted 156/- to 158/-; Australian salted 144/- to 150/-; Argentine 126/- to 236/-; Irish 146/- to 150/-; Danish 154/- to 156/-. Cheese: Better inquiry; coloured 84/to 88/-; Canadian white 86/- to 88/ ; coloured 84/- to 86/-. HIGHDEN ESTATE QLEARED. PALMERSTON NORTH, June 18. A highly successful land sale was held to-day. Messrs Abraham and Williams offered the balance of the Highden Estate, 239 acres. The highest price was £93 per acre, and the average price was £7B Bs. SYDNEY WOOL SALE. Bidding was dull, but good clearances were effected.
