He served three years with the Air Force during the war and recently succeeded Herd as professional at the Coomb Hill. The chief scores in the third and fourth rounds were:—Havers 295, Hagen 296, McDonald Smith 297. Kirkwood 298, Fernie and Whitecombe 302, Mitchell 303. In the championships singles final, Blanchy (Bordeaux) beat Max Decugois 1-6, 6-2, 6-0, 6-2. In the ladies’ doubles final, Mademoiselles Lenglen end Olastos beat Mademoiselles Coustovalavos and Madame Soeranza Wyns 6-2, 6-0. BOXING. SIKI DISQUALIFIED. LONDON, June 16. (Received June 17, 11.15 p.m.) Morelle beat Siki, the latter being disqualified in the sixth round for hitting below the belt. He appeared to have a comfortable victory in hand, but apparently glorying in his return to the sixth round, he tried to play up to his public, and reached the climax with disqualification. (Received June 17, 11.15 p.m.) At Philadelphia Harold Lever set new world’s records for 65 yards, in 6 4-sseconds, 75 yards in Lardy Brown set a record for 500 metres in 65| seconds.
