RESIGNATION OF PRESIDENT. (By arrangement with the Morning Post). (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, June 14. The State Department was informed by the Pekin Legation of Li-Yuan-Hung’s resignation, prior to which he sent a letter to all foreign diplomatic corps stating that he was unable longer to perform freely the duties of his office, therefore he was going to Tientsin, where he subsequently surrendered the seals of office.
