PORT OF BLUFF.

The Kot are arrived from Dunedin at 8 yesterday, and failed for Invercargill •t 10 a.m. The Kini sailed for Dunedin at 2.30 p.m. Owing to the delay of the Moeraki in Dunedin, she will not arrive at Bluff until Jdonday, instead of Saturday, and will sail for Melbourne at 4 p.m. on Monday. The Union Co. advise that the Wanaka j« expected to leave Auckland about Saturday for Bluff, via ports.

TAIROA’S FAST PASSAGE. The Tairoa, from Liverpool via Auckland Wellington and Lyttelton, on her sixth voyage, arrived off the Otago Heads on Tuesday morning, but was delayed there for some time owing to a thick fog. She berthed at the Victoria wharf in the afternoon. The steadier cleared Liverpool on April 21 and averaged 13.1 knots throughout. Her previous best was an average of 12.8 knots, made on her second voyage in 1921. Excellent weather was experienced in the Atlantic and the steamer arrived at Colon on the morning of May 6, having made the run from Liverpool in 15 days. She left Balboa on the evening of May 6, and again experienced fine weather, with trade winds, on the run to Auckland. Throughout the voyage the Tairoa was in constant wireless communication with the White Star liner lonic, which cleared Southampton on April 19, two days before (he Tairoa cleared Liverpool.
