THE BIG AEROPLANE
A LANDMARK THAT ATTRACTS. It will be safe to say that everybody in Southland will be looking for the big aeroplane on Saturday. We say everybody advisedly, for since the aeroplane advertisement appeared on Tuesday morning every youngster in town has been talking about it, and the attractive bargains that the aeroplane is hovering over and will be sufficient inducement to attract the womenfolk. It is rather unfortunate that space did not permit of more bargains being shown, but what does not appear in the advertisement is to be seen in SMITH’S windows, and the aeroplane sign on the windows is a guide that the goods are portion of the Dunedin Warehouseman’s stock. The prices quoted in the advertisement convey to the public bow money can be saved by buying aeroplane bargains, but no advertisement can adequately describe the quality of an article. To test quality is to see it, and to feel it, and this latest lucky purchase of SMITH’S is high grade stuff bought at 8/- in the £, which explains how he can sell the goods at the aeroplane prices.— (Advt.)
