A TYPHOON
PHILIPPINE VISITATION. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright). (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) MANILA, June 12. (Received June 12, 8.45 p.m.) A typhoon which swept Samar Island, killed 13 persons, while thousands are homeless. The natives are on the verge of starvation, all their houses having been blown down.
