a / tk\'L TRADE* MARK Feeding Gows in "Run Through” Bails THE “ SHAW ” FEEDER The difficulty in feeding concentrates to cows in “run through” bails at milking time no longer exists. By a slight alteration, in the construction of the “Dummy” a perfect feeding hopper is provided. The alteration is simple and can be made by anyone who can use a hammer and a saw. The device was originated by Mr W. J Shaw, of “Conberra,” Matamata, who has granted us the privilege of making it known for the benefit of all Dairy F armers. Mr Shaw is a regular feeder of “MOOSE” NUTS and in searching for a simple method of feeding these, discovered that by making a simple alteration to the “dummy” he was able to instal in each of his bails a perfect feeding hopper practically at no cost other than his time. In furtherance of our propaganda for increasing production, it will be a pleasure to us to supply, gratis, a plan and directions for constructing the Feeder. Dairy farmers will appreciate the benefits to b ederived from its use and the generosity of Mr Shaw in to the benefits to be derived from its charge. Write for particulars of the “Shaw” Feeder and also for a copy of our latest Booklets — “THE PROPER FEEDING OF LIVE STOCK” “ENSILAGE, AND HOW TO MAKE IT’ A “Dummy” showing the Feeder will be exhibited by us at the Waikato, Palmerston North, Hawera and Auckland Winter Shows. 1923.
