During the recess Mr McPhee, Chief Secretary, resigned, owing to pressure of business interests. THE DOOLEY TROUBLE. SYDNEY, June 8. The Conference, by 180 to 79 votes, adopted the minority executive’s report that the executive’s handling of the Dooley trouble was unfair, unjust and met with their entire disapproval.
