FARMERS’ UNION SUPPORT. (Per United Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, June 7. The North Canterbury Farmers’ Union carried the following remit without dissent: —That as the preposed Dairy Control Bill is in the best interests of the dairy industry, this conference supports it. The remit was then qualified by a resolution: "That the method of representation on the council be by election by dairy farmers, in the manner similar to that adopted for election of members of the Meat Producers’ Council.”
