CHINESE BANDITS
FIGHT WITH GOVERNMENT TROOPS. (By Telq raph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) PEKIN, June 6. The Chinese bandits haVe resumed operations on the Korean border, defeating the Government troops after killing nine. They kidnapped a score. The outlaws also kidnapped thirty labourers who had been under the troops’ protection The Cabinet has resigned en bloc owing to the refusal of the President to sign mandates appointing local officials but it is the opinion in many circles that financial difficulties were really the reason. REASON FOR RESIGNATION. PEKIN, June 6. (Received June 7, 7.45 p.m.) The Cabinet resigned as a result of the bandit’s kidnapping.
