A Palmerston North Press Association message states that one of the largest land sales for many years was held at Bulls yesterday by Abraham and Williams, who in conjunction with a Levin company, disposed of McKelvie’s flock, house and estate of thirty-four sections varying from 15 to 460 acres, by auction. Twenty-eight were sold, prices ranging from £8 to £63 per acre. The sale totalled £60,000.
