A serious blow has been delivered to the British expert coal trade by the Turkish Government decree prohibiting the supply of foreign coal from depots to bunkering ships; also prohibiting transport trade. The Government has decided to develop the Heracled and Zougouldak coal basins and organise a combine of Turkish coal producers. FURTHER BANK SEIZURES FEARED. CONSTANTINOPLE, May 8. Fearing seizures similar to that in connection with the Bank of Athens depositors are withdrawing funds from the other banks. The money market is excited.
