The committee decided to ask Mr Wilson to accept the tender and to put the work in hand immediately. A provision of the contractor’s tender was that the work would Ibe completed in two years’ time, this period being required owing to lhe Bluff Granite Company being unable to guarantee the [supply cf all the material under 21 months.

| It was estimated that the total cost of i construction would be approximately £9060. The secretary reported that the committee had about £BOOO in hand, while the outstanding promises amounted to £733.
