MR DOOLEY CENSURED. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, February 17. The Australian Labour Party executive adopted the committee’s report stating that Mr Dooley knew Mr Suttor was not a qualified member of the Labour Government for appointment to the Legislative Council. This is claimed by the anti-Dooley section as a censure on Mr Dooley and will possibly prejudice his position as leader of the Opposition. PROTECTION OF WHARVES. SYDNEY, February 17. It is reported that the shipping authorities disagree with the police proposal for patrolling wharves on the grounds that the number is inadequate and the cost to the companies excessive. MR BRUCE ATTACKS EXTREMES. SYDNEY, February 17. Mr Bruce was accorded a civic reception He urged Australia to think nationally, not as sections. He bracketed together the Conservatives and Bolshevists as equally a menace to the future welfare of the country.
