MURDER OF RATHENAU
THIRTEEN YOUTHS ON TRIAL. A STRANGE PLOT (By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian atid N.Z. Cable Association.) BERLIN, October 5. (Received October 6, 12.55 a.m.) At the trial of thirteen youths on a charge of murdering Rathenau evidence showed that the crime originated in the brain of a seventcen-year-oIH schoolboy named Stubenrauch, who discussed it with Hans Techow, aged sixteen, who in turn trier! to enlist the support o& his elder brother, Ernest Techow. The latter said he met the actual murderers, Kern and Fistcher, and discussed a plan for the murder of Rathenau with them. Kern.jvat supplied with ample funds and sent by Ernest Techow into Saxony to bring a motor car to Berlin. Ernest Techow says he never approved of the murder and was under Kern’s influence. The trial was adjourned till October 24. ;
