HEAVY FINES AT WELLINGTON. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 2. Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., gave, his reserved decision to-day in the remaining chafgea arising out of a raid at Petone, heard on September 25, in which Fritz llugho and Franz Dolling, charged with keeping a common gaming house, were fined £75. Ernest Henry Gardiner, charged with loitering for the purpose of betting, was discharged, the evidence being insufficient to warrant s conviction. Die total fines ariring from the raid were £325.
