YOUNG MAN FOUND SHOT. (Per United Press Association.) TIMARU, October 1. On Saturday a young man named Ebenezer Vincent, a butcher at Pareora Freezing Works, was found in the river bed near the township with a bullet wound in his forehead. He was removed to the Ttmaru Hospital where he was o|>erated on. He was unconscious when admitted to the HLos pital at about 2 p.m., and was still in that state to-day. His condition is very serious. Few particulars are available, but it is understood that a pea-rifle was lying alongside him. YOUNG MAN KILLED. DUNEDIN, October 1. George Robertson, 28 years of age, was killeci at Hawca on Saturday night. De ceased and two companions were going to a ball when the motor car capsized.
