The Balloon Beigica, piloted by a Belgian, Ernest Demuytcr, competing in the Gordon Bennett race, which was previously believed to have been tost, has landed in a Rumanian village after crossing the Carpathians. The pilot states that he travelled the greatest distance, 1300 kilometres, and-conse-quently is the winner. All nineteen competitors landed.
