HISSING OFFICIALS
SAFE AKBLVAL AT MOKAI. MISHAP TO ME FUEEERT. (Per United Press Association.) T/WMAEUNUI, June 28. News was received from Taupo that the miasng Public Works resident engineer, Mr Keller, and the road foreman, Mr Curiett, arrived at Mokai to-day after cutting their way through the bash. They were five days overdue and missed the search party. Mr F. W. Furkert, Eugmeer-in-Chief of the Public Works Department, while attemptmg to overtake the party searching from Waimiha for the missing men, fell over a stump yesterday, breaking two ribs. He rode back to Waimiha to-day and came on by train to Taumarunui to-night, and was conveyed to Hospital.
