THE 1917 CONSPIRACY. CHICAGO PLOTTER PARDONED. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, May 23. (Received May 28, 11.55 p.m.) It is reported from Chicago that President Harding pardoned Albert Wehde, one of four plotters convicted in 1917 of attempting to foment revolution in India. Gustav Jacobson, who was convicted on a similar charge, was released at Christmas.
