TRINITY COLLEGE
MEETING OF LOCAL CENTRE COMMITTEE. At the meeting of the local centre committee of Trinity College, London, held on Wednesday last the following members were present:—Mr E. B. Pilcher (chairman), Miss Dundas. ? R. A. Anderson, W. Quinn and Chas. Gray, (local secretary).Apologies for unavoidable absence were received from Messrs R. J. Gilmour and J. L. McG. Wateon. A most satisfactory increase in the number of candidates for examination was reported, all previous records being passed last year, when 187 practical and 211 theoretical were receded. Since the formation of the Invercargill local centre in 1896, 1771 practical and 2047 theoretical candidates have entered for examination making a grand total of 3818.
Votes of thanks were passed to Miss Dundas and her assistants for supervising the theoretical examinations, to the press for publishing results, to the authorities at the Middle School for room-accommodation and to the chairman and local secretary.
