A MUNICIPAL DISAGREEMENT. MAYOR'S RESIDENCE DYNAMITED. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, May 21. (Received May 22, 7.15 p.m.) Following upon the receipt of abusive letters by both the Mayor and the city manager of Columbia, Georgia, as the result of the installation of a new form of city government, a masked party kidnapped and badly beat the city manager and a dynamite bomb was exploded at the Mayor’s residence, destroying the building and damaging all the neighbouring structures.
