MISHAP AT POLO. A BLACK EYE (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association). MANILA, May 14. A black eye is the only result of the Prince of Wales’s accident. It did not prevent him going through his original programme. He had a narrow escape from serious injury. The ball struck his helmet and caused a cut above the left eye. DEPARTURE FROM MANILA (Reuter’s Telegrams.) MANILA, May 15. (Received May 16, 12.55 a.m.) , The Prince of Wales landed at midday, and motored to the naval establishment at Cavite. He lunched with the senior naval officer of the islands. The bruise over his eye is healing satisfactorily. He witnessed several games of polo during the afternoon, but refrained from playing, owing to the excessive heat, rather than to Saturday’s mishap. He sailed by the Renown to Labuan, where he u due on Wednesday.
