KIRKWOOD IN AMERICA MELBOURNE, May 13. secretary of the Victorian Golf Association expresses surprise at Kirkwood’s statement that he had not been advised that he was representing Australia, as a letter to that effect was despatched shortly after his departure and ‘ £4OO was subscribed for his expenses.
