RAND REBELLION

THE CASUALTIES. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Cop' ght) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association). CAPETOWN, May 9. (Received May 10, 11.45 pjn.) In the Assembly the Minister of Defence gave the available casualties on both sides in the late rising on the Rand as follows: Government forces, killed 74, wounded 285. European civilians, killed 182, wounded 287. Asiatics and natives, killed 56, wounded 128. There is no reliable information as to the actual deaths amongst she revolutionaries.
