TERRORISM IN THE SOOTH REFUGEES’ EXPERIENCES DEPUTATION TO WESTMINSTER. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 8. (Received May 9, 8.15 pjn.) A meeting of members of the House of Commons received a deputation of sixty men and women representing refugees from Southern Ireland, who were forced to leave their homes. They detailed their experiences. The meeting passed a resolution that as the stories of the refugees showed that many murders were being committed and a wholesale system of robbery and expropriation was being enforced by the terrorism which prevailed in many parts of : Southern Ireland, the meeting urged the i Government to pay compensation to the ■ sufferers. REPUBLICANS AND LOYALISTS. I COMMISSION ON PROPERTY CLAIMS, LONDON, May 8. Republicans attacked the houses of three loyalists at Castle Caulfield. A vigorous fight ensued and one on each side was killed. Lord Shaw of Dunfermline has been appointed chairman of the commission for adjudicating on private claims for property against the Irish Free State.
