POOL TO BE FORMED (Per United Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, May 6. A representative meeting of aU white pine producers on the Main Trunk line was held here and resolved to follow the lead of other industries and form a pool to organise the supply of white pine. A start was made by reducing the price to 21/6 on trucks at Ohakune, which is 2/- less than the price fixed by the Board of Trade for last season’s supplies. The. movement wiU have the effect of giving users of this commodity a more efficient service. One of the main objects is to ensure that local requirements of dairy factories and other users are adequately provided for.
