AFGHANISTAN
NEW CAPITAL CONTEMPLATED. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) DELHI, May 1. The Amir of Afghanistan is contemplating building a new capital on Charden plain, near Kabul. He is also making extensive improvement in his summer capital at Pagbman. Afghan Customs returns for the past year showed a large increase.
