The Union Company’s Indian trader Waimarinn is en route from Calcutta, Singapore and Samaraug for Auckland. As she will go to Newcastle for bunkers it is nocertain what will be the date of her arrival at that port. The Canadian Explorer, and not the Canadian Exporter, ’.s to leave Montreal on June 28 for Australian and New Zealand ports, being followed on July 28 by the Canadian Spinner. COPRA FREIGHTS REDUCED. SYDNEY, May 5. A reduction of copra freights by 15s to 80s a ton is announced by the overseas shipping companies. A further reduction is anticipated by South Pacific growers and traders. It is also hoped to induce the Harbour Trust to repeal regulations respecting the storage and shipment of copra, which is one of the obstacles to the recovery for Sydney of South Sea trade. Cable advice states that the steamer Port Augusta, en route from New York to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney, resumed her voyage from Colon on May 1. The vessel is due at Auckland on May 20, and at Dunedin about June 6. The Canadian Constructor is to leave Melbourne on May 12 to load at Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth and Auckland for New York, Boston and Montreal. She is now due at Dunedin about Ma> 20. According to cable news received by the New Zealand Shipping Company the liner Ruahine arrived at Colon on April 27 from Southampton, and left Panama on the same day for Auckland, Wellington and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at Auckland on May 20, and at Dunedin about May 31. The Canadian Miller is due at Dunedin from Melbourne at she latter end of May. She will load at Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier and Auckland for New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal and inland points in U.S.A. and Canada. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
