FRESH AIR FUND
SIR ARTHUR PEARSON’S APPEAL. The. following cable message has been received by the Editor of the Southland Times from Sir Arthur Pearson:— This is the thirtieth year of the Fresh Air Fund and the Prince of Wales will spe-nd his birthday on June 23 amongst one thousand poor London children in Epping Forest. Your readers have scribed liberally in past years. I trust you will specially appeal to make this year’s work a record. Subscriptions to the Fresh Aid Fund will be received" in this office and forwarded to Sir Arthur Pearson as in former years. The demands on the fund will be heavier this year than formerly, but the smallest contributions will be of assistance to this project which aims at giving the poor children of London a day in the country or at the seaside.
