LOAN RAISING
MR MASSEY’S NEGOTIATIONS FINANCIERS FAVOURABLY DISPOSED 'Special to the Times.* WELLINGTON, June 9. No official information is available regarding Mr Massey’s negotiations for a loan in London. It is understood, however, that financiers have received the proposal favourably and that there is a good prospect of a loan being raised at a reasonable rate of interest within the next two months. This money will be earmarked chiefly for public works, including hydro-electric development.
